Recalling the Sky-High Thrills (August 9, 2023)

So this post is a bit different from my usual foodie content. I recently found myself lost in a wave of nostalgia as I sifted through an old box of photos. But there was one picture that really caught my attention and brought back a flood of memories – a snapshot of me parasailing during my travelling days. This one was from the Caribbean, but I still remember my very first parasailing escapade in beautiful Bali, and naturally, it got me reminiscing about all the mouthwatering dishes I devoured there too.

I can’t even begin to express how much I enjoyed parasailing. It’s not just an adventure; it’s an experience that takes you out of your ordinary life. Imagine a world where you’re not just a spectator of nature’s beauty but a part of it. The excitement as you ascend is like nothing else, and for those moments, nothing else seems to matter. You’re floating weightlessly, far removed from the daily hustle and bustle.

Looking down, the view that unfolds in front of you is nothing short of mind-blowing – a sweeping panorama of land, sea, and sky that makes you appreciate just how stunning our world is. Bali, in particular, is such a gorgeous island, and seeing it from up high is an experience that’s hard to put into words but impossible to forget. Parasailing isn’t merely an activity; it’s a remarkable experience that leaves you with a lasting memory of the pure joy of soaring through the air – a reminder that life’s greatest treasures are often found beyond our comfort zones, and the sky is just the starting point for your next thrilling adventure.

Why Prince Edward Island Stole Our Hearts (October 3, 2024)

One summer, we had the chance to visit Prince Edward Island, and I can honestly say we fell in love with the place. PEI is nothing short of breathtaking – from its rolling green hills to its iconic red cliffs and stunning beaches. The entire island felt like a postcard came to life, with charming small towns, lighthouses, and endless stretches of scenic coastline.

One of the things that struck us most was how peaceful and welcoming it is. The slower pace of life on the island made us feel instantly relaxed, and the people we met were as warm as the summer sun.

PEI’s beauty isn’t just in its landscapes, but also in its atmosphere – there’s a sense of calm and simplicity that makes you want to linger and savour every second. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left, and we can’t wait to go back.
